What sits outside a standard survey
These are not hidden extras — they are different jobs. If one applies to your property we say so before we attend, not afterwards.
- A run that is completely blocked — A camera cannot see through silt. A fully blocked run has to be cleared before it can be surveyed. Say so when you ring and we will arrange it, or use anyone you like — we take nothing on it either way.
- A property outside WA1 and WA2 — We cover WA1 and WA2 at the published price. Beyond that we will quote any travel before you book, or tell you honestly that somebody closer makes more sense.
- Terraces with no accessible chamber — Occasionally a property has no reachable access point at all and one has to be opened up. That is rare, it is never done without asking, and you will know the cost before anything happens.
If a property turns out to need something we did not expect, you hear about it before any work starts and before anything is added to the price.
